After a successful career in the Hospitality Industry, I have found owning my Bed & Breakfast to be extremely rewarding while enhancing your visit to our area. I enjoy the opportunity to use both my culinary and hotelier experience as they relate to offering you an interesting breakfast menu and a relaxing overnight accommodation.
In short, I am all about being your host. Below are Trip Notes and links to help you get started.
Thank you for visiting!
Along Main Street in Downtown Ste. Genevieve, unique tourism businesses have grown up over the years including Restaurants & Cafe's, Specialty Stores, Antique Shops, Wine Tasting Rooms and Beer Gardens.
Many talented Artists live in our area and add an esthetic that fits beautifully within our community and enjoyed by all who visit their many galleries in Downtown Ste Genevieve. Here our monthly Art Walk is held on the forth Friday of each month from 6:PM to 9:PM. Most Studios serve wine and cheese and its a great deal of fun to meet and greet the artists while roaming their galleries.
If you wish to experience our Ghostly Past follow Brian & Emily Gray as they tour you through

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the Wineries of Ste. Genevieve County. They are wonderful venues showcasing great restaurants with interesting menus, spectacular views and live entertainment. They plan fascinating wine pairings and tasting events throughout the year and many wineries offer a variety of Micro Brews.
We are proud of the Creole Colonial District and all it offers visitors who are interested in our French Colonial past. Within the Creole Corridor you'll view the finest examples of French Colonial Architecture in North America while tour guides tell the stories of our first European settlers.
Nearby Hawn State Park and Pickle Springs Natural Area offer the hiking enthusiast miles of scenic trails atop the St. Francois Mountain Range of the Ozark Plateau. Hiking along the Mississippi River Hills is a different rugged hike with awesome views of natural bluff formations and most spectacularly within the 1700 acre Magnolia Hollow Conservation Area. I have hiked Hickory Canyons, John J. Audubon Trail, Pickle Springs and Hawn. I find them all to be amazingly different and all worthwhile.
Cycling along the Great River Road- Hwy 61- is an intriguing adventure linking many of our first settlements along the old Spanish Trace the first road built between St.Louis and New Orleans.
If you love Antiques - St. Mary's Antique Mall is the largest Mall in Southeast Missouri showcasing over 600 booths in Air Conditioned shopping splendor.

Our Public Golf Course features an 18 hole, par 72 course and a lovely Clubhouse to relax in while enjoying great food and refreshing beverages.
We hold many special events during the year. The largest and most popular is the French/Creole Jour de Fete, a two day two night August street party showcasing music, food, creole history, crafts and merriment.
If touring by car grab a Les Amis - French for - The Friends - " Self Guided Tour Brochure" and Ferry across the Mississippi River to Praire du Rocher then tour the remarkable 1756 Fort de Chartres, a fine example of the French Empire's last stand in America. On down river you'll find Fort Kaskaskia and the confluence of the Kaskaskia and Mississippi rivers "what a view!". Resting just below the fort is the Pierre Menard House built in 1815.
